The ‘Eco-poetry and Creative Writing' Master's programme offers a distance-learning course in creative writing.

The aim of this Master's programme is to combine the practice of creative writing with the study of ecological humanities within the broader context of the Anthropocene crisis. This alliance aims to breathe new life into the humanities and to redefine humanism within broader communities, bringing together humans and non-humans, within a new ecology that is at once environmental, mental and aesthetic.

The programme combines subject-specific teaching in environmental humanities with individual and group support for a creative writing project (novel, short story, literary non-fiction, play, etc.), developed over the course of the two-year Master's programme.

The Épokhè project (Eco-poetics, Creation, Humanities), of which this programme forms part, has been awarded the ‘Academy of Excellence' label by the AMidex Excellence Initiative.
