International mobility for studies or internships is an experience that needs to be prepared for in advance, and its cost needs to be anticipated.
The cost of mobility will depend first and foremost on the cost of living in the host country or city (a move to London will be much more expensive than a move to another British city or Slovenia, for example). Distance and related transport costs can also represent a major expense. Finally, destination-specific costs such as visas, additional medical coverage and repatriation insurance may also need to be taken into account....
On the other hand, and apart from a few exceptions, international mobility does not entail any additional university registration fees: registration fees must be paid to Aix-Marseille Université before your departure, and are waived by your host institution in the case of study mobility.
Aix-Marseille Université's International Relations Department manages a number of mobility subsidy schemes, which are funded by different bodies - the European Commission (Erasmus+), the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), the South Region and the University - and have specific eligibility and award criteria.
