2ᵉ LPL study day on generative artificial intelligences (IAg): "Conducting research with IAg: methodological and ethical issues".

🗓️ Friday, June 19, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

On June 19, 2026, the laboratory is organizing its second study day devoted to generative artificial intelligence, under the title " Conducting research with generative AI: methodological and ethical issues ". This meeting is a continuation of the reflections initiated during the first edition, and aims to explore the ways in which generative AI is transforming research practices, particularly in the language sciences and more generally in the humanities and social sciences.

The morning session will take the form of oral presentations on the concrete uses of these major language models in scientific research. It will begin with a reflexive and situated look at AI in research practices in the language sciences, before moving on to linguistic annotation assisted by large-scale language models, the simulation of human-human interaction, bibliographic information retrieval and scientific integrity issues linked to the use of generative AI in research.

The afternoon will feature participatory workshops led by three speakers, encouraging the sharing of practices around the use of generative AI, the search for scientific information, and the discussion of new declarative and reflexive devices for the responsible use of generative AI in research.

Find the program on the dedicated page of the LPL website.

Registration is now open (limited places available in the morning and afternoon, zoom connection possible in the morning).
