Aix-Marseille University reaffirms its commitment to the Algernon Race, which will take place on October 11, 2026, for its 42nd edition. Last year, nearly 400 runners and walkers proudly represented our university. This year, we are offering 500 race bibs for amU students, staff, and dependents, thanks to SCASC, AS amU, and SUAPS.

The Algernon Race is the largest national event bringing together able-bodied athletes and those with disabilities in a single competition, with no distinctions made between participants. Because it fully embodies the values of solidarity, diversity, and inclusion of people with disabilities that this unique sporting event in France promotes and represents, our university is renewing its commitment by mobilizing, as part of a large team—your amU team—all those who wish to participate.
