What if a bug propelled you behind the scenes of the Internet?
After three months of artistic residency on the amU campuses, Emmy Ols, a graduating student from the amU Master’s in Arts program and the FAI-AR, presents an immersive performance that begins as a lecture on bots… before a mysterious technical glitch turns everything upside down.
Storage areas, control rooms, plunging into the night, snores that sound like growls, intersecting streets, buildings one after another, and work—under surveillance—that always, always, always keeps moving forward. In this liminal landscape, silhouettes caught in the cogs of the machine rationalize, clean, analyze, sort, delete, store, and yawn.
