Call for Papers for the symposium “Extractivist Visualities. Ecosophical Visualities: Images and Artistic Practices Confronting and Transcending the Capitalist World-System,” to be held on December 3 and 4, 2026, at Aix-Marseille University (Saint-Charles Campus, Marseille).
Proposals may focus, in particular, on extractivist and ecosophical visualities, trans-extractivism, as well as research-creation practices and the exhibition of research. Special attention will also be given to interdisciplinary approaches and North-South dialogue.
