Courants Croisés exhibition

🗓️ April 15 and 16, 2026

As part of a student initiative, the Courants Croisés event is organized as a multidisciplinary space dedicated to the cultural, scientific and environmental challenges of the marine world.

Through an immersive and collaborative approach, it is proposed to explore the current challenges of the oceans according to the following program:

  • Multi-sensory exhibition: April 15 and 16 (11am - 4pm) at Cube 201.
  • Creative workshops: April 16 (10am - 1pm) at Cube 211.
  • Round table and buffet: April 16 (6 p.m. - 8 p.m.) in Colloque 1.

The discussion will focus on the theme:
"Seas and Oceans under pressure: from ecosystem studies to international institutions, how can we build sustainable solutions?"

To shed light on this debate, three experts from different perspectives will speak:

  • Sarah Thomas, Project Manager at Institut Océans.
  • Victor David, researcher at IRD.
  • Thierry Thibaut, co-director of the Master in Marine Sciences at AMU.

This event is made possible thanks to the support of the Institut Sciences de l'Océan and funding from the ALLSH Faculty of Aix-Marseille University.
