M1 Arts Plastiques and Sciences de l'art exhibition in collaboration with FRAC SUD

🗓️ from June 4 to 12, 2026, opening June 4

The opening will take place on Thursday, June 4, from 4 to 6 pm.

Playing on the ambiguity of an injunction designed to police public space, the Circulez! exhibition abandons its imperative character to invite all participants to imagine new relationships with the exhibition space. Circulez! invites us to rethink the way we move in the space around us. How can we move the lines? How can we propose meaning without imposing it? How can we make sensitive the relationships that bind us to our environment? The idea here is to question the notion of constraint, which orders space as much as the bodies and objects within it. Through a scenography offering different directions of circulation, the exhibition hijacks the functional uses of the Turbulence building. Drawing attention to the architectural space and its capacity to act as a place - of passage as well as of relationships - becomes the watchword: Circulate!
