The scientific activity of our faculty covers extremely broad disciplinary fields, ranging from neuroscience to the arts, as well as literature, languages, linguistics, phonetics, anthropology, geography, psychology and more.
Against this backdrop, the Faculty has over 730 doctoral students each year, attached to 3 Doctoral Schools:
- two at the Maison de la Recherche: Langues, Lettres et Arts (ED 354) and Cognition, Langage, Education (ED 356),
- one located at the Maison Méditerranéenne des Sciences Humaines (MMSH): Espaces, Cultures, Sociétés (ED 355).
Doctoral students at our Arts, Lettres, Langues, Sciences Humaines faculty benefit from the richness and diversity of the faculty's research themes: they are enrolled in one of the 43 specialties represented, from engineering sciences with a specialization in acoustics or civil engineering and architecture, to psychology, philosophy or cognitive sciences, via the sciences of antiquity, anthropology, demography...
