Asia Day!

Our colleagues in the Department of Asian Studies (DEA), the 5 sections: China, Korea, India, Japan, Vietnam, the students of the Master Langues et sociétés - Parcours Langues, cultures et sociétés d'Asie (LCSA), in particular for Korean, and the Sadhana association for India, invite you to the "Fête de l'Asie".

In the presence of the Honorary Consul of Vietnam, invited as part of a study day taking place simultaneously.
It's cultural sharing as we like it! Come along every day between noon and two, and be enriched by the world and culture of others!


Wednesday, November 19th

In Le Cube's catering area

  • Kung Fu demonstration (China), from 1pm to 3pm
  • Tea ceremony (Japan), 1pm and 3pm


Thursday, November 20th

Hall Cube

  • Indian dance, from 1 pm to 1:30 pm
  • Indian tea and cookies: 1:30pm

Plateau Cube

  • Vietnamese film from 2 pm to 3:40 pm: Mùa ổi(Guava Season) by Đặng Nhật Minh
  • Indian film from 4pm to 7pm: Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam by Guru Dutt


Friday November 21st

  • 10am to 11am: Introduction to Korean manupuncture (probably D101)
  • 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Korean cuisine (Guyon lecture hall)
  • 1:30 pm: Harbin film, followed by a discussion with a specialist in Asian history, Plateau du CUBE
