A not-to-be-missed event on campus: a conference-debate on "Diplomatic professions: a look back at a career in the Asia-Pacific region".
✳️Christophe Penot, a French diplomat and ALLSH alumnus (English, Chinese), will talk about his career path (first posting to Vietnam, two posts in Japan, ambassador to Malaysia and Australia, then in charge of "Indo-Pacific"), changes in the diplomatic profession over the past 40 years, and job opportunities at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs today.
The debate that follows the presentation will provide an opportunity to discuss all these different points.
