Lecture series: "Which Europe for tomorrow?

🗓️ Wednesday 10, Thursday 11 and Friday 12 December 2025

Students in ALLSH's Master 2 in European and International Studies invite you to three evenings of debate. Three round-table discussions to cross the viewpoints of MEPs, diplomats, researchers and experts in the field, and think about the Europe of tomorrow.

  • Wednesday December 10 (6:30pm - 9pm) | Faculté de Droit (Amphithéâtre Mirabeau)
    " The price of our plates: food sovereignty " How can we guarantee our food autonomy without sacrificing our farmers in the face of global competition?
    Speakers: Arash Saeidi (Member of the European Parliament), Julien Fouché (Lecturer and researcher at the Institut Agro de Montpellier) and Yohann Diebolt (Business Europe).
  • Thursday December 11 (6pm - 8pm) | Faculté ALLSH (Le Cube, Salle du Plateau)
    " Energy: towards European independence? From Russian gas to green transition: can Europe free itself from its dependencies without losing its competitiveness?
    Speakers: Marina Mesure (Member of the European Parliament), Timothée Demont (Senior Lecturer in Economics), Basile Imbert (Researcher and Doctoral Fellow in Political Science) and Cesare Mattina (Senior Lecturer and Sociologist).
  • Friday December 12 (6pm - 8pm) | Faculté ALLSH (Le Cube, Salle du Plateau)
    " Does Europe still have appeal? Enlargement and unity " Is integrating new countries a strategic asset or a risk for the cohesion of the Union?
    Speakers: Pierre Loaëc (Head of the European Commission Representation in Marseille), Sára SZABÓ and György GALICZA (Diplomats of the Hungarian Embassy in France) and Assen Slim (Economist, University Professor at Inalco).
