BU Fenouillères welcomes author and publisher Fabrice Lardreau for an interview, to mark the release of his book Les Fantômes de la Poltava. In it, he recounts the life of Sam Simon, a young American from Brooklyn, who enlisted in the air force at the age of eighteen during the Second World War. As a radio gunner on a bomber, he accumulated missions over Europe. On June 23, 1944, in Poltava, Ukraine, he witnessed a scene that haunted him until his death.
