The event is organized around study days and an exhibition. The first day takes place on the Sᵗ Charles campus (Marseille). The following two days on the Schuman campus (Aix-en-Provence).
This colloquium proposes to explore the marginal species of sensitive objects, beyond the familiar forms of perception. Reflections, shadows, holes, horizons, virtual images, sound or thermal objects... the sensory world is overflowing with a variety of objects that manifest modes of existence that are unstable or difficult to grasp. Their genesis reveals the capacity of perception to constantly invent new procedures of objectification. These unusual objects invite us to rethink the way in which reality and subjectivity intertwine in experience. Crossing phenomenological, ontological, artistic and historical approaches, we seek to redefine the contours of the sensible world by exploring its margins.
