AIMS
- to enable deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing signers to undertake or return to higher education - to give them university and therefore social validation - to enable them to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of sign language - to encourage deaf-hearing encounters - to encourage contacts with professionals.
TARGETED STUDENTS
The professional degree in "social intervention in sign language" is a multi-disciplinary training course leading to qualifications and a diploma, enabling professionals to specialise in the "sign language" sector. It provides additional or complementary skills, refining a professional project, developing linguistic knowledge and/or promoting the exercise of a profession with the deaf public.

ADMISSION CONDITIONS
This course is aimed at - people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deafened or hearing signers - in initial or continuing training - with level B1 of the CEFR in sign language - with Bac+2 or VAE - BTS/DUT carrières sociales, etc.
FUNDAMENTAL PREREQUISITES
Level in LSF: A2 validated; or B1 in progress of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR); holder of a Bac +2 (or equivalent diploma) or exemption from the first 120 credits (VAP). - Initial training : candidates with or without professional experience, but with at least a 2-year higher education diploma in the fields of social work, socio-cultural, socio-educational and vocational training, or with at least a 2-year higher education diploma in the fields of social work, socio-cultural, socio-educational and vocational training, or with at least a 2-year higher education diploma in the fields of social work, socio-cultural, socio-educational and vocational training;ducatif et médico-social (e.g. DUT carrières sociales) and wishing to specialise in working with deaf people. - Continuing education: practising professionals or those seeking employment who wish to acquire additional or complementary skills in working with the deaf. If you do not have a 2-year higher education qualification, you can apply for VAE/VAP.
