    The Bachelor of Psychology aims to transmit a fundamental base of knowledge and skills in psychology. These concern the mobilisation of the concepts of the discipline and of related disciplines; research (methods and techniques); practices, interventions and care in psychology; as well as transversal skills (computer science, language, analysis and synthesis).

    - The main concepts of the different thematic fields are the following

    - The main concepts of the different thematic fields of the discipline, their psychological currents and their methodological approaches. The fundamental rules of cognitive, conative and social behaviour, normal and pathological, in its environment and development.

    - The theoretical foundations of the discipline, its main features and its methods.

    - Theoretical bases concerning the main cognitive functions and psychic functioning: development and its disorders, learning and its difficulties, the behaviour of children, adults and the ageing person. Theoretical approaches to psychological functioning taking into account the fact that the individual is situated in, is influenced by and influences a social environment. The complexity of normal and pathological aspects of human behaviour (different currents in psychopathology). The normal and pathological neuro-anatomical and neuropsychological bases of human behaviour. Theories allowing the analysis of organizations, work and the relationship of man with his professional and technical environment.

    Theories of the human being and his environment

    1) entry into a master's degree in psychology to obtain the master's degree and the title of psychologist (the implementation of psychological practices presented in the bachelor's degree will be the subject of the master's training), possibly for continuation into a doctorate;

    2) the development of the psychologist's skills in the field of psychology to obtain the master's degree and the title

    2) insertion into a master's degree or training in a field where a base of knowledge and skills in psychology is sought (paramedical, social, education, neurosciences, cognitive sciences,...) ; 3) the application à of competitions at bac +3 level requiring transversal competences (general culture, working method, digital and information competences, orientation...).

  • TARGETED STUDENTS

    The following are authorised to enrol in the Licence programme:

    - Candidates who hold or are preparing for a French baccalaureate in the general sciences.

    - Candidates who hold or are preparing for a French baccalaureate in the general, technological or vocational sciences.

    - Candidates who hold or are preparing for a French baccalaureate in the general, technological or vocational sciences.

    - Candidates who hold or are preparing for a French baccalaureate in the general, technological or vocational sciences.

    - Candidates who hold or are preparing for a DAEU.

    - Candidates who hold or are preparing for a DAEU.

    - Candidates who hold or are preparing for a French level IV diploma other than a baccalaureate.

    - Candidates who are nationals of a country other than France.

    - Applicants who are nationals of the E.U., the EEA, the Swiss Confederation, the Principality of Monaco or Andorra, who hold or are in the process of obtaining a diploma giving access to European higher education.

    - Candidates who are nationals of the E.U., the EEA, the Swiss Confederation, the Principality of Monaco or Andorra, who hold or are in the process of obtaining a diploma equivalent to the French baccalaureate (diploma obtained outside the E.U.).

    N.B : Candidates who are not nationals of the E.U., the EEA, the Swiss Confederation, the Principality of Monaco or Andorra, who hold or are in the process of obtaining a diploma equivalent to the French baccalaureate (U.E or non-EU) do not go through APB, but through the DAP procedure.

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    • Mobilize the concepts and theories of psychology and related disciplines
    • Competence in psychological research, methods and techniques (methodological and statistical bases for behavioural analysis; observational, experimental and clinical methods, interviewing methodologies, etc.)The course is based on a combination of theoretical, practical and statistical methods for the analysis of behaviour; observation methods, experimental and clinical experiments, interviewing methods, questionnaires, development of scales, test practice, psychomotor and docimology, group dynamics).
    • Competences relating to psychological practices (psychological assessment, investigations, interviews, interventions in the social, socio-educational, medico-social sector, in the company) ;

    Cross-cutting skills, such as identifying and selecting specialised resources to document a topic, analysing and synthesising data, developing an argumentation with a sense of purpose and a sense of humour;Develop an argument with a critical mind, use the different registers of expression of the French language; use at least one foreign language.

  • INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS

    For non-compulsory internships, the establishment of the internship agreement is ensured with the support of the administration of the UFR via the ipro platform http://ipro.univ-amu.fr

    This platform allows the student to access and apply for internship and job offers, to follow up on applications, to request internship authorisation from his/her academic supervisor and to draw up an internship agreement.

    Internships are recommended throughout the course. In the 3rd year, a UE of supervised individual work and internship allows students to analyse the professional activity of a practising psychologist or another professional in order to identify the assets of their psychology course and prepare their post-graduate orientation. These tutorial projects allow students to work in conditions similar to those of a company, with support from the teachers of the course.

  • SPECIFIC TEACHING CONDITIONS

    The psychology degree does not belong to any portal given the large number of students enrolling, it has a single pathway. The training is organised according to the principle of progressive specialisation from L1 to L3.
