On this page, you'll find all the essential information you need to get your academic year off to a good start.

The start of the academic year is a busy time with a lot of information to take in.
To help you get started in university life, guide you, and assist you with your first steps at the college, we strongly encourage you to review these essential tips for a successful and stress-free start to the academic year.

  • Student Life and Campus Fee (CVEC)

Before you register—either now or after you’ve earned your high school diploma—log in to the platform to pay your Student and Campus Contribution (CVEC) online.
This does not apply to you if you are enrolling in continuing education, a professional training contract, or an “incoming” international exchange program governed by an agreement such as ERASMUS. In these cases, you do not need to log in to the CVEC platform. However, this applies to you if you are enrolling as an individual international student (“free mover”) or if you are studying abroad and paying tuition fees in France. To find out what steps to take based on your situation: log in

Download your CVEC payment receipt (for the €105 fee or proof of exemption), which includes the CVEC certificate number—this is the mandatory supporting document required for your online registration and/or enrollment, depending on your profile.

Applicants admitted through Études en France: your online administrative registration (IA Web) will be available starting June 30, provided that the consular services have recorded the visa approval in Études en France. You will receive an email with instructions on how to proceed (registration link, login credentials, link to the CVEC)

    What is the CVEC?

The CVEC is a contribution aimed at improving student life and campus facilities.
As part of campus initiatives, any student can submit a large-scale project proposal for their campus.

  • Creating Your Schedule

For degree programs organized into tracks (Bachelor’s in Psychology (except L3), Bachelor’s in English and Trilingual Studies):

    1. Download your course catalog for the odd-numbered semester
    2. View the class schedules on the dedicated page
    3. If your program is organized into tracks, choose the track that best suits you and fill out your academic form.
    4. Choose a second track that might suit you in case the first one is full.

    For other programs:

    1. Download your course registration form for the odd-numbered semester
    2. View the class schedules on the dedicated page
    3. Create your schedule by selecting the sections you wish to enroll in
    4. Create a backup schedule in case some of the classes you’ve chosen are already full by the time you register
  • Pre-school-year meetings

Pre-semester orientation sessions are held to welcome students.

During these events, student “mentors” will guide you through the lecture halls, classrooms, and various orientation locations specific to your program throughout the day. They will answer your questions and also explain the steps you need to take to sign up for a tour of the university library (BU) and a campus tour.

Faculty members will introduce you to the institution and the general structure of the academic program: the university, the college, the department, the academic structure, the academic calendar, the class schedule, exams, and the various services available to you on campus. They will provide you with all the information you need to get familiar with your new environment and will answer your questions.

  • Pick up your student ID card

Your student ID card serves as a form of identification and is essential for taking exams, borrowing books from the various libraries, and eating in the cafeterias or the university restaurant.

    • If you are a new student enrolled at ALLSH, or if you are a returning student:
The procedures for picking up your student ID card or updating it (to receive the 2026–2027 sticker) will be communicated to you by the Registrar’s Office after the start of the academic year. In the meantime, download your enrollment certificate—which is posted to your ENT > My Student File after your enrollment is confirmed—onto your smartphone!
