The Mucem is organizing a cultural day entitled "Changing the world? Don Quixote's Way of Seeing" around the exhibition and catalog Don Quichotte, histoire de fou, histoire d'en rire.
The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with a presentation of the exhibition by its curators, Aude Fanlo and Hélia Paukner. The day will be punctuated by conferences, debates and screenings, featuring personalities from the literary, artistic and academic worlds, such as William Marx, José Manuel Lucía Megías, and Lydie Salvayre.
Themes will include the topicality of Don Quixote, its cultural impact, and questions surrounding the author between reality and fiction.
At 6:15 p.m., there will be a signing session and a convivial discussion, followed by a literary evening hosted by Lydie Salvayre, with readings and debates.
The event is free and open to all.
