AIMS
The bachelor's degree in German as a Foreign and Regional Language, Literature and Civilisation aims to train specialists in Germany and German-speaking countries today. Graduates have a solid command of the German language, approached both from a practical point of view (written and oral expression workshops, cross-linguistic understanding and expression, tandems, linguistic exchanges) and from a theoretical point of view (grammar and linguistics courses). They have an in-depth knowledge of the major issues facing Germany today, studied in an interdisciplinary way through history, literature, the arts and the media, and have cross-disciplinary skills in research, analysis, synthesis, argumentation, expression and mediation. The teaching projects offered throughout the course (subtitling workshops, lectures, exhibition design, reading clubs, Franco-German exchanges, etc.) provide a basis for Franco-German cultural and intercultural mediation. Graduates generally have experience of studying in a German-speaking country or in the field of Franco-German studies (Erasmus exchange, Franco-German study programmes) or of working in a German-speaking country or in the field of Franco-German studies
