    The Bachelor of Psychology aims to transmit a fundamental base of knowledge and skills in psychology. These concern the mobilisation of the concepts of the discipline and related disciplines; research (methods and techniques); practices, interventions and care in psychology; as well as transversal skills (computer science, language, analysis and synthesis).

    The aim is to enable 1) the development of the psychology of the future, and 2) the development of the psychology of the future.

    The objective is to allow 1) entry into the master's degree in psychology to obtain the master's degree and the title of psychologist (the implementation of the psychological practices prepared in the master's degree), 2) the development of the psychological skills of the students, and 3) the development of the psychological skills of the students;(The implementation of the psychological practices presented in the licence will be the object of the master's training), possibly for a doctorate; 2) insertion in a master's degree or training in a field where (paramedical, social, educational, neurosciences, cognitive sciences, etc.); 3) the application for a master's degree or training in a field where a base of knowledge and skills in psychology is sought (paramedical, social, educational, neurosciences, cognitive sciences, etc.); competitions at bac +3 level requiring transversal skills (general culture, working methods, digital and information skills, orientation, etc.).

  • ADMISSION CONDITIONS

  • STRUCTURE AND ORGANISATION

    The psychology degree does not belong to any portal given the large number of students enrolling, it has a single pathway. The training is organised according to the principle of progressive specialisation from L1 to L3.

  • KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED

    • The main concepts of the different thematic fields of the discipline, their ideological currents and methodological approaches. The fundamental rules of cognitive, conative and social behaviour, normal and pathological, in its environment and in its development.
    • Theoretical bases concerning the main cognitive functions and psychic functioning: development and its disorders, learning and its difficulties, the behaviour of children, adults and the ageing person. Theoretical approaches to psychological functioning taking into account the fact that the individual is situated in, is influenced by and influences a social environment. The complexity of normal and pathological aspects of human behaviour (different currents in psychopathology). The normal and pathological neuro-anatomical and neuropsychological bases of human behaviour. Theories allowing the analysis of organizations, work and the relationship of man with his professional and technical environment.
  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    • Mobilize the concepts and theories of psychology and related disciplines
    • Competence in psychological research, methods and techniques (methodological and statistical bases for behavioural analysis; observational, experimental and clinical methods, interviewing methodologies, etc.)The course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their own behaviour and to help them make informed decisions about their own lives.
    • Competences relating to psychological practices (psychological assessment, investigations, interviews, interventions in the social, socio-educational, medico-social sector, in the company) ;
    • Cross-cutting competences, such as identifying and selecting specialised resources to document a topic, analysing and synthesising data, developing an argumentation with a sense of purpose and a sense of humour;Develop an argument with a critical mind, use the different registers of expression of the French language, use at least one foreign language.
  • INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS

    For non-compulsory internships, the establishment of the internship agreement is ensured with the support of the administration of the UFR via the ipro platform (http://ipro.univ-amu.fr). This platform allows the student to access and apply for internship and job offers, to follow up on his applications, to request the authorization of the internship from his academic supervisor and to sign the internship agreement.

    The student can also apply for a work experience contract.

    Internships are recommended throughout the course. In the 3rd year, a UE of supervised individual work and internship allows students to analyse the professional activity of a practising psychologist or of another professional in order to identify the assets of their psychology course and to prepare their post-graduate orientation. These tutorial projects allow students to work in conditions similar to those of a company, with support from the teachers of the course.

  • SUPPORT FOR YOUR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

    The student has a regular teacher, the Director of Studies. They benefit from regular and individualised follow-up, supported by courses on the methodology of university work adapted to their discipline.

    The homecoming days allow the student to get to know the department, the services of the University, the optional courses, to visit the University Library, to get to know the Common Documentation Service (SCD).

    Practice training, compulsory for L1 students, is a discovery of the ENT Digital Work Environment, the AMETICE pedagogical platform, the institutional email (http://cipe.univ-amu.fr).

  • SUPPORT FOR YOUR ACADEMIC CHOICES

    Progressive orientation in licence 1 or entry into licence 2 within the framework of the portals or according to a procedure proposed by the directions of studies and the Pedagogical Commission. The multi-disciplinary nature of Licence 1 and the options available in Licence 2 encourage progressive orientation (conservation of credits and most grades).

    The programme is designed for students who have already completed their first year of study.

  • SUPPORT FOR YOUR LABOR MARKET INTEGRATION

    The objective is to accompany the student in the construction of his/her orientation. It is a question of providing general information and methodological content for searching for information in order to enable the student to enrich his or her orientation perspectives and to gradually develop his or her choices. It is also a question of providing students with preparation for integration: knowledge of the socio-professional environment specific to the course, initiation into the tools of integration and the search for internships.

  • SUPPORT FOR YOUR STUDIES ABROAD

    International mobility of psychology students is possible during the degree. In the framework of ERASMUS, agreements concern Athènes, Rome, Luxembourg, Leuven, Genève, Gent, Groningen, Nimègue, Zurich, Düsseldorf, Naples, Palermo. For Canada, they are mainly organised with Montréal, Moncton and Chicoutimi.
