The Research Committee

The UFR "Arts, Lettres, Langues et Sciences Humaines" research committee is made up of the following members:

  • Faculty Director: Guy LE THIEC
  • Deputy Director of Research: Phuong Ngoc Jade NGUYEN

Calls for Scientific Events are funding specific to the UFR ALLSH intended for projects outside FIR calls, and are open to teacher-researchers, researchers and PhD students belonging to research units attached to the UFR ALLSH(https://allsh.univ-amu.fr/fr/recherche/laboratoires ).

Two calls are issued each year: the first for projects taking place between January 1ᵉʳ and June 30, and the second for projects taking place between July 1ᵉʳ and December 31.

Proposals may be submitted by doctoral student(s) in association with their research supervisors and research units, and will then concern study days for doctoral students.

Proposals submitted will enable research teams to invite external speakers to work days focusing on their teams' research areas or on new themes. Calls for papers and registration fees are not required, unlike FIR funding for conferences.

In the case of study days, the target and expected audience must be specified: Lecturers, Researchers, PhD students (with possible involvement of EDs, Master's students and, possibly, relevant professionals).

In the case of workshops focusing on specific themes, with a view to establishing new research collaborations or consolidating existing ones, the choice of guest speakers must be justified.

Please note that the number of speakers must not exceed 20.

If in doubt about the admissibility of a scientific event format, please contact the Deputy Director in charge of Research.
